Kidzone toddler rooms provide a fun and flexible environment that supports every child's need for a balanced day of stimulating activity, quiet time, small group interactions, free-play and independent exploration. A variety of Learning Centers encourage toddlers to find and use the materials, toys and equipment that spark their interest.

Learning Centers - Kidzone toddler rooms are designed with special Learning Centers that help every child grow and learn in his or her own way, through self-motivated, informal play.

• A Home living/Dramatic Play Area for role playing and pretending
• A Blocks/Manipulative Area for exploring physical relationships and developing coordination and dexterity
• A Motor Area for climbing and enhancing large muscle strength and agility
• A Sensory Area for exploring the world around them

A Balanced Day - Through fun activities and gentle guidance, our toddler teachers create a nurturing environment that stimulates learning in a calm and reassuring way. They know when to stand back and let your child explore, when to lend a hand, and how to use short, informal activities to encourage social development and friendships.

Health and Safety - Our toddler rooms reflect  years of experience in providing children with a safe, healthy and enriching environment. Everything from toy selection to crib construction, from room layout to food preparation, is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of your child.

Teacher Interaction - Teachers interact with the children as they go about their day, cheering their successes and discussing what they learned. As relationships grow, so will your child's language skills and confidence.

Potty Training - Changing tables and toilets are accessible in all toddler rooms, so we can accommodate your child's needs and your preferences. We'll follow your lead in deciding the appropriate timing, and we'll work with you to coordinate our efforts with yours.

Gentle Discipline - Learning self-control is just a normal part of growing up, so Kidzone policy is never to embarrass or ridicule a child when they misbehave. Nor do we allow the use of corporal or physical punishment. Instead, we use positive tactics that strengthen self-esteem. Most situations can be handled by redirecting the child to another, more appropriate activity.

Keeping You Informed - We'll check in with you every day when you drop off and pick up your child. You'll also get a copy of your child's daily report, a personal record of your baby's day at Kidzone.
