LMC Staff Reads to Kidzone Kidz!                    Kidzone Gives $

Everyday between 9 and 9:30 a.m., if she can, Kathy Tebell  from LMC stops in at Kidzone and reads to the preschoolers during story time. Kathy has been reading to the kids for about 3 weeks for an assignment for her Children's Literature class. The children are really enjoying having a new face and Kathy herself thinks it is a nice start to her hectic day at the office. Kathy works as Assistant to Anne Erdman. Kathy is already asking Kidzone if she can continue to read occasionally after her assignment is completed.

Kidzone gives money to the White House on behalf of the Kidz at Kidzone. Recently President Bush announced  the formation of "America's Fund for  Afghan Children," inviting every American child to contribute $1 to the new relief effort. He called it "an opportunity to help others while teaching our own children a valuable lesson about service and character." At Kidzone we agree. We will be sending $50.00 to this great cause on behalf of all Kidzone Kidz.

Contributions should be sent to:
America's Fund for Afghan children, White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C. 20500.
